This workshop, led by senior Reuters news photographers, shows how to go about capturing the image that graphically illustrates the story, without compromising integrity. Sessions combine discussions and dissection of examples with practical photo-shoots and editing exercises.

Applicants must be photojournalists from Central Asia and currently working as a photojournalist or regular contributor. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to a career in journalism in their country, must have at least two years' professional experience. If you have been on a Thomson Reuters Foundation training programme within the last two years you will not be eligible to apply

Two recent examples of your published work, preferably relevant to the course for which you are applying, with a brief summary in English (if necessary).
A statement of between 250-500 words explaining how you hope to benefit from the course for which you are applying.
