Sept 24 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1630 GMT on Friday.

* BAGHDAD - Gunmen in a speeding car threw a hand grenade at a police checkpoint and wounded three policeman in the Mashtal district of eastern Baghdad, police said.

* BAGHDAD - A sticky bomb attached to a federal police vehicle wounded two policemen in Baghdad's eastern Baladiyat district, police said.

MOSUL - A suicide bomber killed a policeman and wounded two people, including a policeman, when he blew himself up near a mosque in central Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, a source at the provincial police operations room said.

HAWIJA - A rocket wounded five people when it landed in a residential area in Hawija, 210 km (130 miles) north of Baghdad, late on Thursday, police sources in Hawija and Kirkuk said.
