Quake jolts Japan's Okinawa; 50 cm tsunami warning - TV

TOKYO, Oct 5 (Reuters) - An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.4 jolted Japan's southern Okinawa islands on Monday, public broadcaster NHK said.

The quake, at 2228 local (1328 GMT), was at a very shallow depth, a government agency said.

A tsunami warning for waves of up to 50 cm was issued, according to NHK.
