ZURICH, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Several people were killed when a plane crashed in western Switzerland on Friday, local police said. "There were several victims," said Markus Rieder, spokesman for the cantonal police of Valais. "Fewer than 10." The aircraft was presumed to have been a private plane, he said.
According to the Swiss newspaper Blick's website, the bi-motor Beechcraft airplane crashed at around 1145 GMT in the Val d'Anniviers, some 110 km (68 miles) east of Geneva. (Reporting by Catherine Bosley; Editing by Jon Hemming)
