KINSHASA, Feb 15 (Reuters) - One South African and a local driver working for British oil firm Soco International <SIA.L> have been kidnapped in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a spokesman for the firm said on Tuesday.

The pair were taken when a number of the firm's vehicles were attacked on Monday in Congo's North Kivu province, spokesman Antony Maris said by telephone. The rest of the team appeared to be unharmed, he added. (Reporting by Jonny Hogg; Writing by David Lewis; Editing by Sonya Hepinstall)
