Feb 23 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Pakistan at 0855 GMT on Wednesday:
KURRAM - Pakistani artillery bombed and destroyed two militant hideouts and killed 8 insurgents on Wednesday in the northwestern tribal region of Kurram on the Afghan border, security officials said.
Troops have killed more than 100 militants in the past month in small-scale operations aimed at driving insurgents from their strongholds.
