Tropical storm Twenty struck Australia at about 12:00 GMT on 3 April.Data supplied by theUS Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Centersuggest that the point of landfallwasnear15.5 S,124.4 E.Twenty brought 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around64 km/h (40 mph).Wind gusts in the area mayhave beenconsiderably higher.
