KHARTOUM, June 7 (Reuters) - Fighting between northern and southern-allied forces in the capital of Sudan's Southern Kordofan state has killed six people, the U.N. Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) said on Tuesday.
"UNMIS is concerned about the ongoing fighting between SAF (Sudanese Armed forces) and the SPLA (Sudan People's Liberation Army) and the deteriorating security situation in Kadugli," UNMIS spokesman Kouider Zerrouk said.
He said six bodies had been received by the local police hospital, including four policemen and two civilians. (Reporting by Alex Dziadosz; Editing by Louise Ireland)
