CARACAS, July 7 (Reuters) - Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez said on Thursday he was keeping all his government ministers in their jobs and thanked them for the work they had done while he was undergoing surgery for cancer in Cuba.

In a televised speech, he also confirmed the positions of his military high command. Local media has speculated that the 56-year-old socialist leader might reshuffle his cabinet after his illness led to questions about his long-term health. (Reporting by Daniel Wallis; Editing by Paul Simao)
