"Mobile Technologies for Conflict Management", edited by Marta Poblet from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, brings together experts and practitioners from fields such as mobile technologies, information systems, computer sciences, online dispute resolution and law.
The book presents innovative uses of mobile technologies in the areas of early warning, disaster and humanitarian relief, governance and citizens' participation.
It also aims to shed light on issues such as privacy concerns when reporting human rights abuses through mobile technologies and asks what role mobile and online governance can play to help implement the rule of law.
