MEXICO CITY, July 20 (Reuters) - Hurricane Dora on Wednesday strengthened to a Category 2 storm in the Pacific off Mexico, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.

The storm could strengthen to a major hurricane later on Wednesday, but it is expected to move parallel to the coast and not hit land, the Center said. (Reporting by Elinor Comlay; Editing by Sandra Maler)
