Egypt's Brotherhood dismisses charges against deposed president

CAIRO, July 26 (Reuters) - Egypt's Muslim Brotherhooddismissed as "ridiculous" accusations levelled by theauthorities on Friday against deposed President Mohamed Mursithat included killing soldiers and conspiring with thePalestinian group Hamas.

"They are not taken seriously at all. We are continuing ourprotests on the streets. In fact we believe that more peoplewill realise what this regime really represents - a return ofthe old state of Mubarak, with brute force," Brotherhoodspokesman Gehad El-Haddad said.
