Arrested for human trafficking - Spanish and French police break up a ring suspected of trafficking Chinese migrants into Europe and the United States.
The smuggling operation, based in Barcelona, charged up to 50,000 Euros to transport Chinese citizens with false IDs to the U.S. and European countries including France, Spain, Italy, Greece and the UK.
81 false passports of Asian countries including South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and Japan were recovered as well as fake immigration stamps, Chinese and European currencies, mobile phones and a number of other items.
Spanish police said 51 suspects were arrested in Spain and 24 in France, as part of a joint operation begun by Spanish authorities in June.
