LONDON (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - The Philippines government has begun releasing confirmation of fatalities from super typhoon Haiyan. Some officials are estimating that the death toll of about 10,000 will be rising sharply. The confirmed and estimated fatalities on this map are as of 3 p.m. on Sunday.
