ROMANIA SELLS 755 MLN LEI IN AUG. 2016 BONDS

Romania sold a higher than planned 755 million lei ($228.72 million) in treasury bonds due in August 2016 on Monday, with the average accepted yield at 3.92 percent against 3.97 percent at a Dec. 19 tender.

ROMANIA SENDS FORMER PM NASTASE BACK TO JAIL FOR CORRUPTION
