Rebel vs. rebel in Syria

by Reuters

Rebel forces turn on each other in Syria.

The sound of gunfire rings through the streets in Idlib as members of the Free Syrian Army rebels clash with members of the al-Qaeda linked Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

The video which can not be independently verified comes as heavy fighting between rebels in Syria has killed hundreds of people over the past six days and rattled the al Qaeda-linked faction.

More footage appears to show rebels wandering in the streets as a voice over a loudspeaker can be heard saying they have taken control of a building once in control of al-Qaeda linked rebels.

In Aleppo, it is the government coming under fire from rebel forces. More than 100,000 people have died in the fight --with few prospects for peace ahead of meetings later this month aimed at ending the war.
