BAGHDAD, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Half a dozen bomb explosions killed 24 people and wounded 58 in Baghdad on Monday, Iraqi police and medics said.

The bloodiest attack occurred in mainly Shi'ite Muslim Abu Dsheer district in the south of the Iraqi capital, where a car bomb near a crowded market killed seven people and wounded 18.
