Myanmar/Burma is slowly engaging in political and economic reforms, but decade-old conflicts still bring suffering to tens of thousands. In January, a team from the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection ECHO was able to travel to several displacement camps in the area. Increased and unhindered humanitarian access to all those in need is urgently required.
