MOSCOW, Feb 21 (Reuters) - A Russian judge who convicted eight defendants of rioting and violence against police at a 2012 protest against President Vladimir Putin said she would pronounce the sentences on Monday.
Prosecutors have asked for prison sentences of five to six years for the defendants, who pleaded not guilty in a trial denounced by Kremlin critics as politically motivated.
