JOHANNESBURG, March 6 (Reuters) - South Africa's power situation was "not looking good" for Friday, a spokesman for utility Eskom said, after rolling blackouts were imposed in Africa's largest economy after heavy rains soaked coal supplies at power stations.
Eskom expects the blackouts to last until 2200 (2000 GMT) on Thursday, but spokesman Andrew Etzinger told radio station Power FM heavy rains were peristing in coal-producing areas east of Johannesburg, home to many power stations. (Reporting by Ed Stoddard; Editing by Ed Cropley)
