Russia's Gazprom says does not want 'gas crisis' over Ukraine

MOSCOW, March 13 (Reuters) - Russian state-controlled energy company Gazprom said on Thursday it wants Ukraine to be able to pay for gas supplies and does not want a "gas crisis".

Gazprom's Chief Executive Officer Alexei Miller said that Ukraine's debt for Russian gas stood at more than $1.8 billion.
