MOSCOW, March 18 (Reuters) - Russia's Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Tuesday that he expected no conflict with Ukraine over Moscow's energy supplies to Europe, Interfax news agency reported on Tuesday.

"We proceed from the assumption that there should be no (transit wars)," Novak was quoted as saying.

Around a half of Russia's natural gas exports to Europe flow via Ukraine.
