Three dead, eight injured in fire at Jersey Shore motel - report

March 21 (Reuters) - A fire raced through a motel in the Jersey Shore town of Point Pleasant Beach early Friday, killing three people and injuring eight others, the Star-Ledger newspaper reported.

Bodies were pulled from the scorched ruins of the Mariner's Cove Motor Inn, police told the Newark, New Jersey, newspaper. (Reporting by Barbara Goldberg; Editing by James Dalgleish)
