WASHINGTON, March 21 (Reuters) - A 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck off India's Nicobar Islands on Friday, the U.S. Geological Service reported.

The quake hit at a relatively shallow depth of 6.2 miles (10 km) about 68 miles (110 km) southeast of Misha, Nicobar Islands, in the Indian Ocean, the agency said. (Reporting by Doina Chiacu; Editing by Susan Heavey)
