SANAA, May 14 (Reuters) - A colonel and four Yemeni soldiers were killed on Wednesday in an attack by suspected al Qaeda militants on an army outpost in southern Yemen, a source at the Yemeni Defence Ministry said.
The source said the colonel was working as an adviser to the Second Marine Command in southern Yemen. The attack came after the Yemeni army drove militants from their strongholds in Shabwa and Abyan province in a campaign launched more than two weeks ago.
