California Senate approves state budget in 25-11 vote

SACRAMENTO, Calif., June 15 (Reuters) - The California state Senate approved a $156.4 billion state budget on Sunday in a 25-11 vote.

The vote came just hours after the State Assembly approved, the measure. It includes funding for a high-speed rail project and preschool education for low-income children.
