Magnitude 6.4 earthquake strikes off southern Philippines - USGS

MANILA, July 14 (Reuters) - A magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck off the coast of the southern Philippines on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

The epicentre was 91 miles (146 km) off the town of General Santos, the USGS said. The USGS initially said the quake was magnitude 6. (Writing by Robert Birsel)
