GAZA/JERUSALEM, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip landed in southern Israel after dawn on Friday hours before a 72-hour ceasefire was due to expire, the Israeli military said, but Hamas denied it had fired them.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said the projectiles landed in open areas close to the Gaza border and caused no injuries or damage. (Writing by Ori Lewis, Editing by Giles Elgood)
