KIEV, Aug 27 (Reuters) - A group of Russian soldiers have crossed the Ukrainian border in armoured infantry carriers and trucks and entered the eastern town of Amvrosiyivka, a Ukrainian military spokesman said on Wednesday.

The spokesman, Andriy Lysenko, said that in fighting in the towns of Horlivka and Ilovaysk further north, government forces had killed about 200 separatists and destroyed tanks and missile systems.

He said 13 Ukrainian service personnel had been killed in the past 24 hours and 36 had been wounded. (Writing by Richard Balmforth; Editing by Mark Trevelyan)
