(Corrects to say remaining deaths were of militants, not soldiers)
MAIDUGURI, Nigeria, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Fighters from Nigerian Islamist militant group Boko Haram stormed the northeastern town of Mainok on Friday, killing at least 36 people, and were still attacking it on Saturday, two security sources said.
Among the dead were 23 civilians, the security sources said, the rest being Boko Haram miliants repelled by soldiers defending the town.
