Returning to Syria after working for the BBC in London, Zaina Erhaim found that all of the citizen journalists reporting on the civil war were men. When she decided to run training sessions for women who wanted to be journalists, she quickly realised the obstacles they faced were enormous.
Zaina spoke with the Thomson Reuters Foundation after a recent appearance at London's Frontline Club.
