From gliding past 200 barbershop poles containing messages from typical conversations in a hair salon to immersing yourself in a room full of traditional canvas paintings masked with colourful LED light - watch the highlights of the “Digital meets Creativity” session and contemporary art show. The seminar at UNESCO on 12 September explored the power of digital technology in creative industries and the exhibition which runs from 12-23 September 2016 features extraordinary works by Korean digital media artists HanHo and Byeong Sam Jeon.The events were organised by the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea and the Secretariat of the 2005 Convention on the Protection and the Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, with a special opening ceremony featuring Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO with His Excellency Mr Lee Byong Hyun, Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Korea to UNESCO.
