Quake hits off San Salvador coastline, no reports of damage

SAN SALVADOR, Jan 3 (Reuters) - A strong magnitude 5.8 earthquake hit off of El Salvador's coastline on Wednesday, though there was no threat of a tsunami, according to the nation's Environment and Natural Resources Ministry.
