MEXICO CITY, May 20 (Reuters) - Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Monday his government will issue a decree to eliminate tax forgiveness for large firms.
"This mechanism has been abused and it will be eliminated. During the last two governments large tax contributors had taxes of some 400 billion pesos ($20.9 billion) forgiven," Lopez Obrador said. ($1 = 19.1142 Mexican pesos) (Reporting by Ana Isabel Martinez and Diego Ore Editing by Paul Simao)
