Nicolas joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in January 2015 as Director of Journalism & Media Programmes. He comes to the Foundation with over 15 years of broadcast journalism experience, most recently as UK correspondent for French television network TF1, Europe’s largest television news audience. Nicolas has covered and presented across a range of subjects including the peace process in Northern Ireland, three UK general elections, the 7/7 London bombings, the Arab Spring in Tunisia, and the London Olympics. As Deputy Bureau Chief of TF1’s London office, Nicolas managed a team of producers, researchers, cameramen and video editors as well as having editorial responsibility and day-to-day oversight of the network’s second-largest foreign desk. Raised in France, Nicolas is a dual French and Irish citizen. He holds BA degrees in Law and Political Science from Université Panthéon-Assas and received his MA in journalism from the Centre de Formation des Journalistes in Paris.
