Benjamin joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in August 2015. He is responsible for managing relationships with TrustLaw’s expansive network of NGOs and social enterprises in North America and supports the development of TrustLaw’s cross-border research programmes.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Benjamin developed relationships and coordinated operations as a Development Associate for the International Crisis Group. Before this, he was a Program Associate at Humanity in Action, where he worked to organize human rights-focused fellowships and educational programmes in Europe and the United States.

Ben currently sits on several junior boards in New York City in the fields of youth development and LGBTQ rights. Benjamin has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Asian Studies, a Master’s of Public Administration and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington.
