Executive summary: Trang has a global responsibility developing and executing communications strategy and campaigns targeted at TrustLaw’s extensive network of legal experts, NGOs and social enterprises.

In her global role, Trang takes care of media relations, leadership communications, digital marketing, content development, impact measurement and event planning for TrustLaw.

Prior to the Foundation, Trang led marketing and events at Thomson Reuters across eight countries in Asia and managed a team of marketers in Singapore, China and the Philippines. Trang also held various positions in communications, marketing and research across both the private and public sectors, including the UN Industrial Development Organization in Austria, the International Organization for Migration and ActionAid International in Vietnam, the Department of Justice Victoria in Australia and the International Trade Development Agency in Hungary.

Trang holds a Masters in International Relations from the University of Nottingham and the University of Melbourne, and a Masters in Communication Management, undertaken with the Singapore Management University, UCLA and the Università della Svizzera Italiana.

Trang received an Outstanding Performers Award for her services with Thomson Reuters and was recognised for her academic achievements with the DBS Bank Top Student Award. In her free time, Trang provides pro bono communications support to a number of non-profits in the fields of education, healthcare and food sustainability
