Paul Martin


Paul Martin is a former Canadian prime minister and finance minister. Under his leadership, the government reached an historic consensus that helped eliminate gaps between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Canadians in areas such as health, education and economic opportunity. He is chair of a British-Norwegian poverty and sustainable development fund for the 10-nation Congo Basin rainforest and sits on the advisory council of the Coalition for Dialogue on Africa, U.N. Economic Commission for Africa and African Development Bank.
