Jennina June Leira Lanza is a communications officer with World Vision's Typhoon Haiyan Emergency Response, based in Tacloban in the Phillippines. She lives in Tanauan, a town severely hit by Typhoon Haiyan when it tore through the Philippines in November 2013. JJ, as she likes to be called, loves to write stories where for her silence becomes a voice in sharing thoughts and ideas from within.
