Nigel Harris became Tearfund’s chief executive in November 2015. Previously, he was chief executive of Farm Africa, a long-term rural development NGO focused on east Africa, and before that was chief of staff at Save the Children UK. He has worked as a consultant for the Department for International Development and Tearfund, and prior to this was a trustee of Medair.
