BUDAPEST, Oct 9 (Reuters) - The Hungarian village of Kolontar, which lies close to a damaged alumina sludge reservoir which flooded villages on Monday, is being evacuated, national news agency MTI reported on Saturday.

MTI said the dam of the damaged part of the reservoir has further weakened and disaster crews have decided to evacuate the village.

It also said that Prime Minister Viktor Orban arrived at the village on Saturday morning. (Reporting by Krisztina Than; editing by David Stamp)
