KABUL, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Three troops from the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) were killed in separate insurgent attacks in Afghanistan on Friday, ISAF said.

One ISAF service member was killed by a homemade bomb in the south of the country, while two troops died in a bomb attack in eastern Afghanistan, ISAF said.

The latest deaths bring to nine the amount of foreign troops to die in Afghanistan so far this year. Last year, a record 711 troops were killed, according to monitoring website www.iCasualties.com, compared to 521 for 2009.
