SYDNEY, Feb 22 (Reuters) - People are trapped in buildings in the New Zealand city of Christchurch after a strong earthquake caused extensive damage and cut power, witnesses told local television.
"It is huge. We just don't know if there are people under this rubble," a priest standing outside the rubble of a damaged cathedral told New Zealand television.
