DAMASCUS, Jan 24 (Reuters) - The Arab League, which has demanded that President Bashar al-Assad step down, took a decision it knew Syria could not accept, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem said on Tuesday.
"Instead of discussing the (Arab monitors') report, they took a political decision that attacks Syrian sovereignty and which they knew in advance we would not accept," he told a news conference.
