UAE to strengthen strategic stockpile - prime minister

DUBAI, April 5 (Reuters) - The United Arab Emirates' cabinet approved strengthening the country's "strategic stockpile" on Sunday in response to the coronavirus outbreak, the vice president and prime minister tweeted after a cabinet meeting, without specifying what goods.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, who is also the ruler of regional tourism and business hub Dubai, said authorities had also directed factories to support the needs of the country's health sector. (Writing by Lisa Barrington; Editing by Mark Potter)
