(Adds Richards Bay Coal Terminal unaffected)
JOHANNESBURG, Oct 14 (Reuters) - South Africa's port operator Transnet said it was investigating a fire incident on Thursday at South Africa's Richards Bay port, a commodities export hub, after a fire broke out at one of the terminals on Wednesday.
"Business continuity plans have been implemented and engagements are taking place with affected customers," Transnet said in a statement.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established, and an investigation is underway, Transnet said.
This is the second fire incident in the past week.
Operations at the Richards Bay Coal Terminal - Africa's largest coal export facility - are unaffected, a spokesperson said. The coal terminal is located across the bay from Richards Bay port.
