How to manage risks and crises better, as natural disasters become more frequent and intense in a warming world, is a key issue for governments at the World Humanitarian Summit on May 23-24.
In an online debate ahead of the conference, organised by the Thomson Reuters Foundation and the BRACED (Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters) programme, we discuss ways of making local communities more resilient to natural hazards and helping them adjust to changes in the climate.
