This 22nd to 27th August, Terre des hommes (Tdh) – child relief – will be living to the rhythm of the World Village at the Paléo Festival in Nyon. The largest Swiss open-air festival has invited the largest Swiss child relief organization to present its work at the heart of the event, where more than 230,000 visitors are expected. On this occasion festival-goers can discover, in an original way, the work done by Tdh with regard to the welfare of youngsters in conflict with the law in Latin America.

You will find us in the World Village, where you can familiarise yourself with juvenile justice by taking part in games and interactive activities. You can, for example, listen to the messages spoken by young people in conflict with the law in Latin America and send them your own support in the form of a personal message or photos. Tdh colleagues and specialists from Latin America will be there to talk to you about Tdh’s work for the prevention of violence and the promotion of alternative measures to detention for these youngsters in conflict with the law.

Treat yourself to traditional dishes or leave your recyclable glass in one of the baskets available either at our booth or at the Palm Bar, and you can support Tdh’s projects. In this way, your contributions will go direct to the programmes of Tdh.

Every year, Terre des hommes offers sustainable solutions and a better future for over two million children and their relatives. Learn more about our projects in juvenile justice.
