The second annual TrustLaw Awards will take place on Monday 3rd December in London. The Foundation will reward the best pro bono projects undertaken jointly by leading lawyers and NGOs / social enterprises working to address the world's most challenging environmental, humanitarian and social problems.
Nominations will be announced in September.
Last year's winners included:
Orrick, Latham & Watkins, and 17 other law firms, for working with Adie to promote micro-entrepreneurship in Europe.
J. Sagar Associates and Hewlett Packard, for working with mDiagnostica to facilitate remote diagnosis of sick people in India's rural areas.
Mayer Brown, together with 18 other law firms, for working with Transparency International to strengthen the global review process of the UN Convention against Corruption.
DLA Piper, GE and Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, received special awards for being the most active TrustLaw members in their respective categories (international law firm, in-house legal team and domestic law firm).
