KHARTOUM, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Former Darfuri rebels said on Friday they had rescued a Chinese worker who was kidnapped days ago in neighbouring Chad and that he was in good health, a spokesman said.
"Our forces in North Darfur confronted an unknown group holding the Chinese hostage -- we managed to obtain his release and we are chasing the kidnappers," said Zanoun Suleiman, spokesman for the Sudan Liberation Army. (Reporting by Opheera McDoom; Editing by Angus MacSwan)
